About the temperature selection range of the transmitter

Generally a pressure transmitter will be calibrated with two temperature segments that have different roles. One of the temperature segments is the normal operating temperature, and the other is the temperature compensation range. The so-called normal operation temperature range refers to the temperature range when the pressure transmitter is not destroyed in operation. It is important to note that the device may not meet the performance specifications of its application if it is operated outside the temperature compensation range.

The temperature compensation range is typically smaller than the operating temperature range. The transmitter will certainly meet its proper performance specifications when working within this range. There are two ways in which temperature variation affects its output: zero drift and full-range output. Such as +/-X%/°C of full scale, +/-X%/°C of reading, and +/-X% of full scale when out of temperature range. The change in transmitter output to degrees is caused by pressure changes.
