Emerson has permanently discontinued the production of the 475 HART communicator. Authorized OEM production and original new stock are completely cut off worldwide.
All 475 units available on the current international market are refurbished second-hand equipment or pirated cloned versions. Their serial numbers cannot be traced in Emerson's official database, with incomplete DD files and unstable communication. They often fail site acceptance and HART connection with new transmitters like 248R, 3051 and 5400 radar.
AMS Trex is Emerson's only official successor to the 475 communicator. It is fully compatible with all HART instruments, supports complete DD libraries and NE107 diagnosis settings, and carries valid factory serial numbers and full hazardous area certification.
For EPC contractors and system integrators, we suggest phasing out obsolete 475 units to avoid commissioning risks. We maintain genuine original Trex communicators in stock with full certification documents.
